A chance meeting is like a song, as is the beautiful encounter with Beijing Foreign Studies University, including lovely teachers. BFSU and I met in a beautiful spring. Through the wide and bright windows, the early spring sun shines on the leafy green plants and into my dreams as well.
I am a student of English Major, grade Spring 2019 at BeiwaiOnline, Beijing Foreign Studies University, studying for my second degree. My pre qualification is an undergraduate major in Art History. I have passed PRETCO, CET4 and CET6 successively, and then I am an archaeology graduate student of Zhejiang University. But I found whenever I read original English works of art, language was an obstacle to my academic communication with the world. I always like English and start to pick up the vocabulary book. Set sail, together with wind and rain, and forge ahead.
At present, I’m engaged in painting, art history, museology and archaeology, and I enjoy racing, writing and traveling. Of course, the new university life makes me strive to break away from the language poverty. I constantly urge myself to study hard.
It is a very important stage in my life to study in BFSU for a degree in English major. My second college life has started again. I met very good teachers and classmates in BFSU. Systematic and professional learning improves my English level. The school's curriculum arrangement is very reasonable.
Ms. Deng Yajiao is one of my favorite teachers. Her perfect English pronunciation is very attractive. She seldom speaks Chinese in her pronunciation class and writing class. The whole English class is very professional. Later, I met Mr. Li Chen, who is very popular among students. His humorous lectures are unforgettable but orderly. After class, I did exercises in my study for a long time, completed all assignments on time, and insisted on joining every VOB live class. Here I met many excellent teachers and foreign teachers from BFSU. Their diligence and self-disciplined spirit encouraged me to move forward.
With the help of the leaders of BFSU, the teachers of the college and of the learning center, I have achieved good results in my study. At the same time, I was elected as the leader of a learning group. I set an example for myself and wanted to affect my classmates with my enthusiasm and sense of responsibility to actively participate in all learning activities.
As the learning group leader, I have set up Wechat English learning groups to learn and exchange ideas with each other in the group in a positive, harmonious and united atmosphere. Real-time communication can help us better know and learn from each other. Thanks to all the teachers in the Learning Center of Zhejiang University of Technology for leading me to the road of language learning and their patient guidance in my learning.
From a busy morning to the afterglow of an evening, I will always remember the days of struggle in the past and insist on walking all the way to have a better performance in my study.
