As a senior high school English teacher, I have been teaching English for six years and I have been studying English for over ten years plus I keep on learning after I graduated from college as a life-long learner.

As an English major, I have been crazy about learning English since I chose to study English in 2007. Actually, I dreamed of entering Beijing Foreign Studies University when I was in senior high school, owing to its profound reputation of language teaching and academic background. I knew that there were a number of diplomats who graduated from BFSU. But I failed in the College Entrance Examination, which made me so disappointed about myself then.

As an old saying goes, it’s never too late to learn. In the summer of 2016, I came across the online school of BFSU on the Internet. Soon after that, I decided to give myself a second chance. I found out the nearest learning center in the capital city of Anhui Province and registered. From then on, my dream ship has been setting sail once again in the ocean of knowledge.

Now one of my dreams is to get the Teacher’s certificate for Senior School, which requires a bachelor degree. Thus, I need to spare some free time to continue my studies online, which means I will have less time to rest and have fun. However, in return, I will learn more about English in depth. On this online course, one of my challenges is that the contents of the courses are different from what I have learned in the college. Especially about some vocabulary, which are new to me. Therefore, it will take me plenty of time to memorize them.At the same time, I have enlarged my vocabulary and gained a better sense of English language at a higher level.

I do believe if you spare no effort to commit yourself to English learning, you’ll get more than you expected. Less is more. Success comes from accumulation.

There is no doubt that I will realize my dream sooner or later with my great efforts. Life-long learning is of great importance for everyone of us!
