Dear friends, have you ever read the book “what’s possible in your life”?
Have you ever asked yourself the same question “what’s possible in your life”?
Let me share with you my story regarding this question.
In my daughter’s primary school, they conduct the English words spelling contest every year. When my daughter was in the first grade, she won the championship of the whole grade during the contest. This is the first time that a Chinese girl won this contest in their school. Only foreign students had won such prize before. Besides proudness of her, this actually surprises me. As she hasn’t attended any English classes out of school, and never spent any additional time at home reciting the words. This triggered my thinking about what we have been doing for her English learning.
Starting from myself, I have loved English since I started my learning from my middle school. I love it because of its fluent pronunciation at the very beginning. I could always have good performance in English classes and during examinations. After I graduated from university, my English became a powerful skill in my work, I love it because I started to realize that English could be a bridge for me to link with the best resources in the world. With my daughter growing up day by day, I hope she could set up her own bridge too no matter what she will do in the future. So, when she entered the primary school I did the research on how kids should learn English. I’d like to know what parents can do to help the kids to have the real fun and pure love to the learning, not for examination and score. I’d like to help her to find the beauty and true meaning of learning. Finally, I realized that reading is the magic wand of language learning. So, with carefully selected reading material, we started our journey.
Well, with our reading program going on, I realized that my existing knowledge is good enough for me in the work, but still need improvement to be able to guide her excellently on the way. At that time, it came to the turning point of my life. I “ran into” Beiwaionline on purpose after long time of searching. Without hesitation, I’m in the game seriously ten years after I graduated from university . On one side, I want to keep developing myself on my favorite things, on the other side, I’d like to be a role model to my daughter. And I’d give myself an opportunity to see what else is possible in my life.
Here, on our online campus, we have the best, systematic English learning system and resources in
During the journey, I gained a lot, my own development, the happiness and improvement I brought to those children. I love the journey. Well, I know I have a long way to go. I’d like to work harder and harder to improve myself continuously, to support my daughter and her little friends’ growth. I’m so happy to see that some amazing changes have happened to other people’s life because of me. Just for this, I’ll never stop my steps for being a better myself.
I’d give myself an opportunity to see what else is possible in my life.
