I, as an ordinary clerk of an ordinary company, live an ordinary life. Everyday, I just follow the route between home and company repeatedly. However, during the life on the simple route, I have a special hobby, listening to English songs. Sometime, I even sing while listening and learning some songs. It is said that interest is the best teacher. I like listening to English songs and singing. So I also learn English via music. In this case, I can enjoy the learning and my life.

   Language is a special tool of human beings for expression and communication. It is also considered as a special social phenomenon. Nowadays, the main international language in the world is English. For most of the e-mails, scientific publications, radios, videos, internet, international business advertisement, national conferences and etc., English is taken as the first language. It has become a significant communication tool for many fields in the world, such as politics, military, economy, science, culture, trade, transportation and so on. Mastering f one more language means one more tool for communication. Learning English is to open a door to other cultures. With the acceleration of the life pace of modern life, the competition is more and more fierce. If I have one more skills, it will be helpful for my career development and working efficiency improvement. Meanwhile, my value of life will also be enhanced.  

   In autumn of 2013, I’ve received the letter of admission fromof the Institute of Online Education, Beijing Foreign Studies University. At that moment, I jumped with great joy because my dream of college and Beijing Foreign Studies University would be realized. I will study, learn and improve in the University with many classmates. When I was informed that I had to pass the English Examination before getting the certificate of degree, I decided to join the team to learn English. Nothing can be accomplished by an action. To learn English, I have to put in time and energy. Now, everyday, I make full use of my spare time to learn English. I start with listening and speaking. Firstly, I imitate the correct pronunciation in the electronic dictionary and speak English bravely if there is any chance. I have assignments by myself. I have to memorize 20 to 30 English words everyday. I write down the words on a small notebook and take it with me so that I can read the words when I have any spare time. I have insisted on the learning method for a certain period of time. Now, I can basically understand some English technical documents and sing some English songs, which brings much surprise to my life. It also plays an important role in  improving my knowledge structure and broadening my view of knowledge.     

   I do believe the truth that constant effort yields sure success. During the study and life in future, I will continue to learn English with the principle of happiness and relax. Learn English well during work and study and live a happy life with ABC! .
