My name is Dai Teying, majored in Business Administration at BeiwaiOnline Institute of Education. Beijing Foreign Studies University has always been my dream school and I dreamt that one day I could study there. Unfortunately, I missed the first chance to become the student of BFSU when I was 18. Now, the pursuit of high efficiency has become many people’s necessary life issues. Because there are too many things that you have to do every day, including work, family, friends, community, and your dream. With the lightening speed of development in the modern science and technology, I feel an urgent and strong desire to study. However, due to the great pace of modern society, many people are too busy to study full time at school. BeiwaiOnline provides me a good chance to let my dream come true.
Since I started to study at Beiwaionline, I made a lot of new friends and I learnt the management skill and language skill from the varieties of learning approaches, such as reading materials increase my literature knowledge, VOB/Voice of BeiwaiOnline class corrects my English pronunciations and improves my language ability. I am grateful that BeiwaiOnline gives me a chance to organize the VOB interest group online for being a host and sharing my study experience with my schoolmates together. Besides online resources, they have some outdoor activities, essay contest, English speaking contest, acting-out plays, recitation and many other practices. Also, they have inspired and encouraged me in different ways which drive me to move forward. I have made some contributions to the field of public activities as a volunteer many times during studying at BFSU. I volunteered during the Beijing Foreign Language Festival in Chaoyang Park in June 2012 and October 2013 for Beijing International Language Environmental Construction. I have been to the outdoor BBQ activity this April which I knew a part of my schoolmates from. I had a hand in the English speaking contest this May, I felt my confidence and my English skills had been improved even though I didn’t pass to the preliminary contest. After that, I focused on English speaking skills, and I studied the Western culture. Then I won the second prize from ‘Taking to Fran’ activity. To get an award, it isn’t the key point of taking part in the contest. Moreover, I knew the culture of the United Kingdom and the process of paying effort to gain knowledge. Now, I get a chance to work in Sweden.
It was a miracle journey for me that I traveled foreign country without language problems and found my love during the period of improving myself at BFSU Online.
As far as I'm concerned, I feel I am a member of BeiWai students’ group and I am so proud of it. BeiwaiOnline as a high efficient study way is here to stay for the foreseeable future. I wish you will enjoy your trip at BeiwaiOnline Education Institute.
